The interview process involved two phone screens and three in-person interviews, which were quite straightforward and welcoming. The conversations mainly focused on behavioral aspects, delving into past experiences, background, and assessing personality fit with the team and company. The atmosphere was professional yet informal, with the team aiming to understand how a potential new hire would integrate and collaborate with the existing group. Following these discussions, an offer was extended.

Got referred by a staffing agency, they contacted me for my resume and then set up the interview. Four people were in the interview. They asked basic behavioral questions and discussed my experience. It's important to research what the company does beforehand and be ready for questions about it. This company handles transactions worldwide, so you might be asked to work on US holidays like the day after Thanksgiving, Easter, etc. They staff people from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern time to accommodate world stock exchanges, so you'll also be asked to work an early or late shift.

I was referred by a current employee and applied online. They called me back quickly for a short phone interview where they asked about my knowledge of the company and my background. Then, they set up an in-person interview. It was pretty casual. I met with two operations managers who described the job in detail and asked some situational questions. I felt I didn't get to express myself much, even though I tried to highlight key attributes. They told me when to expect to hear back. I sent a thank-you email that afternoon and waited. My contact at the company said they really liked me, so I was hopeful. When I didn't hear back, I waited another week and then followed up with the managers about the position. About two hours later, I got an email saying they were moving on with other candidates. I suspect they wouldn't have responded if I hadn't followed up, especially since I knew an employee.

It was pretty easy. Started with a phone chat with the HR director, then another phone call with one of my future bosses, and ended with an in-person meeting with about 6 different people. They weren't asking anything technical or financial; they just wanted to see if they could get along with me and if I was someone they could teach.
