Behavioral

It was very behavioral focused, not very technical, prepare some HR questions and you will be fine. It was only 2 rounds and the process was easy. The first round is just informational with the HR and the second round is with the manager of the field.

I went through several interviews for this role and was almost at the finish line with a verbal offer. Each interview was scheduled a week apart. The recruiter gave me a verbal offer over the phone and mentioned that the official paperwork would be sent within the next week. However, I never got any offer letter or documents. I reached out to follow up, and about two weeks later, the recruiter contacted me again. They explained that there had been some restructuring in the marketing department and that I would need to interview with one more person. This additional interview never took place because the recruiter stopped responding after I repeatedly tried to connect. I recently saw on LinkedIn that they re-posted the same job, but this time for a Senior position.

Behavioral Technical

I was referred for the role. My experience was a good match so my application moved quickly. Within a week, I scheduled a call with an internal recruiter, although it took a follow-up to actually get the screening set up. Another reminder was needed to schedule the hiring manager call. The recruiter call was 30 minutes and covered the basics to move forward. The recruiter encouraged me to reach out if I didn't hear back promptly. The second interview was a video call with the hiring manager two weeks later. They indicated they wanted to hire me but needed to complete the process, expecting it to be quick. The next step was supposed to be a final interview with the hiring manager and their superior. A week passed with no updates. I emailed both the recruiter and hiring manager on Monday with no response. By the end of that week, nearly two weeks since any contact, I called and texted the recruiter for an update, still nothing. That same day after work, I got an automated rejection email, and the job title had been changed to "Website Designer/Developer," which wasn't the original listing. The hiring manager had specifically said they weren't looking for developer skills and that it was marketing-focused. The whole process was unprofessional with poor communication and a bait-and-switch on the job title. This reflects the company's issues with turnover and layoffs, and a lack of direction. It feels like I dodged a bullet.

So, the interview process started with a chat with the hiring manager, then another meeting with the hiring manager and two other folks who seemed like they'd be users. They gave off good vibes, but I haven't heard back about any offers yet. Honestly, their hiring process feels kinda all over the place. I was dealing with them through a headhunter, and it looks like they were also posting the same role on Jobot and other sites. Feels like they might have been just trying to find the cheapest candidate. If you don't get picked, you get zero feedback, just silence.
