First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Convergence Networks.
Programmer
It was smooth and fair. I had the chance to show my professional skills. The analysis was based on technical criteria and without discrimination. I felt confident in the approach and self-assured due to the friendly manner.
- How many years of experience do you have, and what specific skills do you possess?
Integrator
The interview process included a phone screen and a web video technical interview where I was presented with a series of scenarios. I had the chance to meet many great and interesting people, and the conversations were nice. The management seemed nice as well. I'd definitely suggest interviewing with them; the people there are great!
- Can you share an instance where something went significantly wrong?
- Tell me about a time when a situation didn't go as planned.
Team Manager
I had a phone screen with HR, and they really knew their stuff about the role. Then I talked to two senior leaders, and we finished with a quick chat where I could ask questions. They seemed keen on my background and how I'd fit in. There were a bunch of questions about how I deal with change.
- Can you share your experiences assisting a team in adapting to change?
- What is your background in team development?
- How do you approach opportunities for growth?
Business Development Executive
I was asked some pretty basic questions for the job. When it was my turn to ask questions, I ended up talking to myself. I sent an email asking if they had technical issues and if we needed to reschedule, but got no reply. They had my phone number but didn't call either.
- Are you familiar with solution-based selling?
- Given that this is a hunting role, are you comfortable with that aspect?
- Can you describe a situation where you had to discuss a price increase with a client?
