First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Contractor Connection.
Data Analyst Intern
The interview process was great, and the HR and hiring manager were very professional. I had one interview with the hiring manager and received the job offer within days. It was a meaningful internship with the company:)
- Can you describe your previous experience with data analysis projects?
- What was your approach to managing a challenging situation encountered during a project?
Recruiting
I had an in-person interview with 2 supervisors. It was a really comfortable and informative experience. I felt like I interviewed well and they liked me. The supervisors went over the job duties, holidays and time off, the workplace culture, expectations, and so on, in detail.
- Do you know Excel well?
Customer Service Representative
The interview process began with a phone interview where they asked basic questions about my call center experience and gave me a general idea of what the job entails. Then, I had a face-to-face interview with a manager and the supervisor who conducted the phone interview. I was asked about 10 questions in total, a mix of scenario-based and behavioral questions. From what I understood, you had to answer them in a specific way to score high enough.
- Can you describe how you would prioritize tasks from least important to most important?
Process Improvement Specialist
This interview process was a bit strange. The interviewers seemed annoyed from the start. The questions basically tested my knowledge on the subject, like an oral exam. I get that some jobs need technical skills, but this one didn't require me to just spit out definitions. It was weird, I've never had an interview that needed me to know everything like an encyclopedia. Plus, after the first round, I heard nothing for 5 months, and got zero communication after the second round.
