First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Contour Aviation.
Flight Attendant
after applying online specifically for this base, I was invited to an online video group introduction, then a face-to-face interview which included questions and reading a prepared announcement. The interview itself was one on one and a really good experience.
- Tell me why you want to work for Contour.
Cross-Utilized Agent
The interview process was really straightforward and easy to schedule. I got to visit the airport and see how things work, which was cool. The staff were friendly, and it was an easy transition. I'd definitely recommend Contour if you're okay with working outdoors and don't mind noisy places.
- Can you tell me your availability for the upcoming month?
Flight Attendant
It was an open house style interview. They gave a presentation about the company first, and then we had a chance to ask questions before moving on to one-on-one interviews. There were about 8 candidates and 2 interviewers in total.
- Will the salary be acceptable?
Pilot First Officer
after applying, I got an email invite to self-schedule my interview. Contour does a two-round interview process. The first is HR with a few technical questions, and the second is all technical. I passed the first round interview, and am currently waiting for the second round. The interviewer was very professional and is a pilot also, so he cuts right to the chase and you can expect little to no "tell me a time" questions.
- Can you describe your prior flying experience?
- Please explain the altitudes and headings on a STAR.
