Continuum Interview Questions
& Process

I had a phone interview first, then an in-person interview. After that, there were two more in-person interviews where they focused on my technical skills and my interest in the job. They also asked about my grasp of macro-economic knowledge.

The interview was really short and the interviewer was aggressive and unfriendly. They didn't try to make me feel comfortable or introduce themselves, and I didn't get to introduce myself either. They just threw questions at me in an angry way. They also didn't explain that the interview would have a role-playing part before we started. It felt like if this is how the company treats people, it's best to stay away because employees probably aren't valued. It was a super unpleasant experience, one of the worst interviews ever, and I'm still kind of mad about it a few days later.

I had two interviews for this internship. The first was a phone call, and the second was over Skype because I was moving to Boston. The phone interview had one interviewer, while the Skype interview involved a larger group or the team. In both, I discussed my past work, and it was pretty straightforward. I didn't feel stressed at all. They asked a lot about my experience and what aspects of the job I was interested in, like doing research or focusing more on strategy. The people were really nice and seemed genuinely interested on a personal level.

Started with a 30-min phone screen, then maybe another interview. After that, I had to do a project that I'd present to 6-8 people. They gave me 1.5 weeks for it and said to spend 4-8 hours, but it was obvious they didn't mind if I spent way more time. After the presentation, there was another interview with the same people who saw my presentation, but only 3 of them this time. They mentioned they're interviewing others and want the best candidate.
