First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Continu.
Customer Success Manager
So I applied for a CSM role at Continu about a year ago and didn't have the right experience, which is fine. Then I applied again a year later for another CSM role and when I mentioned I'd interviewed before, things changed real fast. They got back to me in two days saying the role was filled... kinda sus since they interviewed me. Then a few months later, I saw another CSM role I liked, emailed them directly, no response. I followed up again and got an automated rejection the next day. It seems like Continu is not into interviewing people more than once, even if they're qualified. It's a shame because if you're that interested in a company, shouldn't that be a good thing?
- What are your standard screening questions?
Customer Solutions Engineer
The interview process was refreshing. The Continu team was responsive and informative about next steps and timelines. I've been through other interview processes and either been ghosted or left in the dark with no response to follow-ups. Continu responded to each email within a business day, sometimes same day. Given the high volume of applications, this level of responsiveness gave me insight into the responsiveness I could expect from interviewers and throughout the company.
- What is your reason for leaving your current employment?
- What aspects of Continu appeal to you?
- Regarding your experience and abilities, how do they align with the requirements of this role?
Account Executive
This took three weeks and seven rounds of interviews. I met with founders, VPs, engineers, and product leaders. I did a role play and aced it. The in-person interviews at their Hudson Street office felt great, with all positive signs pointing towards an offer. However, less than a day after verbally accepting the offer, they rescinded it without any explanation. This left me feeling disregarded after I had approached the process with professionalism, authenticity, and energy, and had treated their team with respect.
- Can you describe your process for identifying potential business opportunities, presenting solutions, and successfully finalizing deals?
Partnerships Manager
The interview process included rounds with the Chief of Staff, VP of Customer Success, CEO, VP of Finance, and Sales Director. Each of these interviews was more of a conversation focused on skills, experience, and the role itself. I gained a lot of insight into the company and was able to determine if it would be a good fit for me.
- Can you tell me about your background and experience?
- What's your philosophy on customer success?
- Can you share an instance where you managed a challenging customer, employee, or partner?
