First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Continental Carbon.
Cogen Operator
Had a long phone interview first, then went in for an in-person interview. After that, it was weeks of waiting to hear back about decisions. Then I had to take a physical, which took about a week to get the results and my start date!
- How does your previous work experience connect to this role?
Auxiliary Operator
The interview process was really smooth and laid-back, no pressure at all. It mostly involved casual chat and then a tour of the plant to check things out, rather than a lot of intense questioning.
- Can you explain the function of the drum in a power plant?
Process Engineer
It was very unprofessional. I emailed them for directions before the interview but didn't get a response, not even when the interview was supposed to start. Weeks later, still no reply.
