Writer
A week after applying, I got an email to set up a call. It was a quick chat about the job and what to expect. It was chill and they only asked me a couple things.
- Could you describe your availability?
- What subjects are you comfortable writing on?
Editor
It was pretty chill. I had a phone chat to check out my background and if I'd be a good fit for what they're hiring for. They wanna see if you know your stuff and are good at editing.
- Can you share your background as an editor?
Content Strategist
I applied via Planted and talked to the CEO. Then I met with the Strategy team and Directors from other departments to get a feel for the job and what my teammates expect. I had to do a sales exercise for prospecting, and then we reviewed it. They let me know what the next steps were at every point.
- Can you tell me about your approach to full cycle sales?
- What's your experience working with account management teams?
- Which outbound sales tools have you utilized, and for what purpose?
