The interviewers were nice and got straight to the point. It was a bit more formal than other interviews I've done, as they really stuck to their list of questions instead of letting the conversation flow naturally, but honestly, that was kind of reassuring. The questions they asked were pretty standard, which was helpful.

I submitted my application through my college's career services. About a week later, I got a call saying I was selected for an interview. Since I was going to be in the DC area anyway, I offered to come in for an in-person interview at their office. I was interviewed by two junior members and one senior member of the Mortgage Analysis team. I heard back about the internship offer within a week after the interview.

It wasn't a tough interview. It was a 30-minute chat over the phone. They asked about interesting things on my resume and my college experiences. Two people were on the interview panel. I don't think they had many applications that year because I got an offer just hours after the phone screen.
