Case Behavioral

It was a three step process. First, a writing sample, then a case interview, and finally a behavioral interview. They have a set of questions they ask everyone and stick to it pretty closely. You get time to ask questions at the end of each interview.

Behavioral

The interview was structured and had very formulaic questions. It was hard to tell who the leading candidate was because the questions didn't give a good sense of the actual job. There wasn't much time at the end to ask my questions about the job.

Behavioral Case

I had a nice interaction with the two directors at CFPB. CFPB is a relatively new agency established by the current President to oversee the consumer market. There were 2 1:1 interviews, one fit and one case. The case was not very hard, but candidates must be organized to solve the case. Candidates must really be interested to work for a government agency and really know what CFPB does in order to be moved forward in the recruitment process.

  • Why are you interested in CFPB?
  • Tell me about a case interview involving payday loans.
