First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Constantia Flexibles.
Software Engineer
I was called in for two in-office interviews. Right from the first conversation with the recruiter, I let them know my salary expectations, and I reiterated them at each in-office stage. Throughout the interviews, they kept probing to see if I was desperate for a job, likely to try and get me to accept a lower salary. I made it clear that my salary expectations were firm. They also promised a decision within a week, but I only got a brief email three weeks later stating they'd chosen another candidate. The whole experience felt unprofessional and poorly managed. It seems my salary expectations were never a good fit for their budget from the start, especially since they're still advertising the position.

Account Manager
The interview process was okay, though it took a while to get the offer, probably due to internal procedures and the process itself. The questions asked were standard, like inquiries about the relevance of my experience and how I envisioned excelling in the position. There were several interview rounds, culminating in an in-person meeting.
- Please discuss why you believe your background is a good fit for this position.
Compensation and Benefits Specialist
I submitted my application on the company's website. The HR department contacted me about a week later, and then the first interview was set up for another week after that. In total, there were two interviews: the first was with the HR person and the Hiring Manager, and the second one was with the EVP and the Hiring Manager.
- Can you tell me about the compensation processes you have experience with?
Communications Specialist
So I was interviewed for a Communications role, and went through a few rounds of interviews and tests. Then HR called saying they were restructuring and wouldn't be hiring for the role. Six months later, they called back saying they had restructured and wanted to offer me a salary package. I was interested, but after I followed up, HR said they couldn't offer a package anymore because the role had moved departments. I was told I'd need to do another interview and test. I did, and they called to say the job went to someone else but another opportunity might come up soon that I could interview and test for. I respectfully said that after all the interviews and tests, we should have enough info on each other and I wasn't wasting any more time. I said it's fine if we weren't a fit, but this endless cycle is not pleasant.
- Tell me about your experience with communications strategy.
- How do you approach social media outreach?
- Can you provide an example of drafting a press release?
