So first I had to do a coding round, you have to pass 2 out of 3 questions. Then there's a technical interview that also has a managerial round. So I'll be showing my technical skills and leadership qualities.

This was a strange interview. The HR chat was chill, but the technical interview felt off, like maybe HR and the interview team weren't on the same page, or they were being misleading. The job was posted as 'Software Engineer II,' but they were interviewing me for a senior/lead dev role. When I told the interviewers I wasn't at that senior level, they lost interest. I still valued their time and answers, and every interview helps, but it felt like an uphill battle. The interview began with two coding tests, even though the HR call said there wouldn't be any. Then, there were technical questions with the team manager and someone who seemed like a senior engineer.

It started with a quick chat with HR about the job and the company. They looked over my resume and asked some typical HR questions. It was a nice conversation and they made a good impression. Later, I had the technical and final interview with the team lead and project manager. They were both nice and professional. The interview had personality and technical questions, but no coding. I think they should add a coding part to check technical skills better. The interviewers were upfront about the job's challenges and expectations, which was good. I ended up taking another job offer before hearing back from them, so I had to withdraw. Even so, it was a good interview experience and left me with a good feeling about the company.
