First, there's a phone screening that lasts about 20 minutes. If it seems like a good fit for what they're looking for, they'll send over a behavioral assessment. After reviewing the assessment results, there will be a video interview with the department manager, and then they'll extend an offer.

The recruiter asked for my availability for a call that week or the next. Once I provided it, they asked if I could speak that same day. I was available, but the recruiter was 30 minutes late for the call, though they did text to let me know. At the end of the call, they said they would get back to me by the end of the week but never did. I emailed them the following week for an update, but got no reply. The week after that, I emailed again asking if they had moved forward with other candidates, and still no response. It's been three weeks with no word. While I can assume they aren't interested, and I was a bit rusty since I haven't interviewed in a while, the recruiter should have followed up or responded. I'm not sure I'd want to work for this company if recruiters ghost candidates or take weeks to give updates.

Behavioral Other

I heard back from the recruiter within a few days, which was great. We set up a phone interview via email. The phone interview was alright. The recruiter was new and her lack of knowledge was understandable, but she was nice and passionate. She wanted to move me to the next stage and asked for my portfolio and an assessment, which I sent. Then I heard nothing back. It felt like they forgot about me. I think maybe my salary expectations were too high or something else, but I'll never know because they never followed up. It seemed like they were disorganized or didn't care enough to follow up. The process made me feel devalued. Even though they seemed like a good company, they need to work on accountability and follow-up in their HR department.
