First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Conoco.
Cashier
It was easy and they were very direct. They asked good questions, and the interview wasn't too long. It was a live stress interview. I'd do it again. They asked some personal questions too.
- Tell me about your previous work experience.
Customer Service Representative
It was pretty easy. They asked behavior-based questions, and if you did your research, you'd know how to answer them. The people were really nice and gave a good picture of the day-to-day responsibilities.
- Can you describe a situation where you had to influence someone?
Cashier
I sat down and had a nice chat with Fred. He seemed like an okay guy. The pay for the job was questionable, though. I'll have to see how I feel about taking this position.
- Tell me about your biggest weakness.
IT
The first interview was through campus recruitment. About a week later I was contacted for an on site interview in Bartlesville Oklahoma where I had 3 different interviews with different groups.
- Did you have any behavioral questions?
