First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Connexus Energy.
IT Manager
You'll start with a phone interview. If that goes well, you'll come in for a group interview on-site. After passing that, there are take-home aptitude tests that feel like high school exams but you really need to prep for them. If you pass those, you'll have a second on-site group interview and a tour.
- Could you role play a scenario you'd encounter in this job?
Data Analyst Intern
First, we had a phone screen where we talked through your resume and asked some simple behavioral questions. Then there was a skills test with some math calculations and reasoning problems. Finally, a technical interview where you were given a small dataset, asked to present your analysis and thoughts, and discuss your project experiences with some behavioral questions.
- Can you tell me about your past work experiences?
- Walk me through your resume.
- Do you have any simple behavioral questions?
Project Manager
It was a tough interview process, I get they need to filter people, but having three meetings with the same people who asked the same questions over and over was a bit much. The group interviews felt like the participants were shy and hesitant to participate.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Business Development
The interview was on the phone, and like most phone interviews, there were a bunch of questions. Some questions were typical, and some were more specific to the job. It was an okay interview.
- What are your salary expectations?
