First, I had to take a written test. After passing that, I had to do a physical exam. Once I passed the physical, they gave me an interview date, but it was almost a year away. The actual interview was with two people who currently work for the DOC.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I took and passed an exam and was then scheduled for an interview. The interview process was a panel type, with three people in the room. We all sat at a table, including myself. The questions were personal and job-related, and at times intimidating because they could be misleading or hard to understand. They did explain the details of the job position, including hours and the facilities that are hiring. Overall, the interview was fine, but I wish the questions were more job-related and less scenario-based. I thanked the team as I left and was told I would be contacted either way regarding hiring.
