First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Conn-Selmer.
Regional Manager
It was a typical car wash interview. I met with a few managers, and the whole thing took about half a day. It wrapped up with a lunch with the person who would've been my boss if I'd kept going with it.
- What is your willingness to travel for this role?
Administrative
I had a low-stress Zoom call for the interview. It included my future team and the department head. They asked simple questions about my skills and experience. It went well.
- Which platforms are you familiar with?
Customer Service Representative
Had two rounds for this job. The first was virtual and went well. The second was supposed to be virtual too, but it was in-person instead. I drove four hours each way, and then they told me the job wasn't virtual. It was a total waste of time, gas, money, and felt really demeaning.
- Tell me about your hobbies.
- How is your experience relevant to this role?
Data Engineer
I was initially selected by a third-party recruiter. The very next day, I had an interview with the IT director. It was a good interview because the director was really knowledgeable and easy to talk to. About halfway through, an analyst they work with joined in to ask me some technical questions focusing on PowerBI, dataflow, and Fabric. Overall, it was a great experience.
- Can you explain your methods for reporting data from D365?
