Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Conifer Health Solutions.
Business Analyst
It was a laid back and accommodating process with 3 interview rounds. You met with the Director, Managers, and Peers. There was also an aptitude test to check your analytical thinking. The multiple rounds gave you a good idea to understand leadership at multiple levels.
- Generic questions were asked, but the aptitude test was a nice twist. It quickly highlighted those who were able to, on the spot, think critically in a certain way that the company was looking for. Generally speaking, this led to higher retention.
Business Analyst
This interview was done by Wheeler Staffing Partners. The recruiter had tech issues so the call quality was bad, calls dropped, and the meeting started late. The recruiter said there's a pre-screening before the actual screening, and some people don't move on even with good resumes because of it. For this role, Conifer management told Wheeler Staffing Partners to write down exactly what interviewees said. So, my recruiter asked me to go slow and repeat my answers a lot. I tried to work with her, but it got annoying to keep saying the same things over and over. I decided not to move forward with this job when I saw my recruiter kept writing down my words wrong, which would probably hurt my application.
- Why did you decide to apply for this specific job?
Business Analyst
The interview process was straightforward. It started with a phone call with the hiring manager, followed by an interview with a team member. During the peer interview, there was an activity designed to assess my problem-solving approach for the job's responsibilities.
- What is your definition of success?
