Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Conga.
Sales Role
The interview process was disorganized and frankly, unprofessional and disrespectful. Seriously, run away from this company. They make decisions in a bubble, and roles tend to shift based on recent firings and what needs filling. There's an online personality test upfront, which I aced, but then they told me I wasn't a fit. It's wild. The only logical reason Salesforce invested in them is likely for incubation and a future buyout. It's a crazy company.
- No hard questions were asked.
- Some questions didn't align with my background, experience, or successes, as if they weren't interested in how I could benefit the firm.
Sales Operations
Recruiters visited DU's Business College to interview potential candidates, which was great for students. Then, a phone interview was set up with the manager for the internship position. Lastly, an on-site interview took place at HQ in Broomfield. This included 30-minute rounds with the recruiter, the position-specific manager, and two other related managers. All follow-ups and scheduling for next steps were handled diligently after each meeting. The interviewers were all friendly and approachable. They seemed most interested in personality and a willingness to learn and try new things. They did a good job of describing the company culture and daily operations, even with three acquisitions happening. Overall, it was a positive experience talking with the team and touring the offices.

Sales
The interview was quick and to the point. We didn't spend any time getting to know each other or seeing if I'd be a good cultural fit. It wasn't a bad interview experience, but I felt like the interviewer saw me more as a number to help him hit his targets rather than a person. I'm sure it's a good place to work, but I didn't get a great vibe about the sales side of things.
