This was a waste of time. I should have learned from this process about the lack of process, credibility and organization at Apttus. There were three stages - two face-to-face meetings, plus a presentation. I met another team member from alliances, and it was clearly a power struggle between the Alliances team and Sales, with open conflict during the interview process.

First, there was a call with a Headhunter over the phone. Then, I had a couple of calls with the Sales leadership, one with the RVP Sales and another with the VP Sales, both via web meeting. The final stage was a panel interview over web meeting, which included an introduction where I talked about myself personally and professionally, a sales pitch, and a discussion on territory planning and approach, concluding with a Q&A session.

The interview process was really well organized and straightforward. I got to interact with people from different departments, which gave me a good sense of the team and the company culture. The interviewers seemed genuinely interested in what motivates candidates, going beyond just the typical sales-related questions about performance metrics. Everyone I met shared a common vision for the company, and they were very open and transparent throughout the process.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Describe the ideal culture and work environment if you were to establish and lead your own business.
