First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Conformis.
Manufacturing Engineer
My interview process was pretty standard. It started with a recruiter call, then a technical screen, and finally an onsite interview.
- Why do you think you're a good fit for this role?
- How do you believe others perceive you?
- What are your intended contributions to the manufacturing team?
CNC Programmer
So first they did a phone call to check my work experience, and then they set up a technical interview and an HR interview, and they both happened on the same day. It usually takes them about 20 days to get the offer letter out from management.
- Do you have knowledge of CNC Machining?
- What types of materials have you worked with?
- How do you approach tool selection?
AP Coordinator
The Controller was very late to the interview, and when they finally arrived, they reviewed my resume for the first time and stated that they weren't looking for someone to train on AP processing, but rather a data entry person with regular A/P experience. I was already told by others that the job was a mess and probably not worth traveling for, but I was still insulted that my preparation time, including a half-hour of paperwork, was wasted. The temp agency contacted me because the Controller didn't bother to follow up. It would have been better not to interview candidates they had no intention of hiring.

CAD Specialist
After submitting my resume, I was contacted for an interview two weeks later. The interview itself was quite long, lasting about 2.5 hours and felt very intense. A significant drawback was the lack of communication from their end; they were unresponsive to emails or any attempts to reach out. I think their communication with candidates could definitely be improved.
