Staff Accountant
Sent in my resume and they emailed me to schedule all the interviews. I had a short phone call, then met with people in my department. After that, I met with some of the exec team. Then I got an offer letter. Next up was a background and drug test, and then we figured out start dates.
- Can you share a professional accomplishment you're particularly proud of from your past role?
- What would your previous manager say if we contacted them?
- Could you describe your proficiency with Excel, including your experience with VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables?
Graphic Designer
I applied online and got a call from HR within two days. About two weeks after that, I had an in-person interview. The interview questions were pretty easy and I felt like I answered them well, and they seemed to like my answers. The interview started with two people, who I think were the head of marketing and another marketing team member. Then, the rest of the marketing team, including interns, interviewed me. I thought it was cool that everyone was involved. I sent a thank you email the next day and was told they'd decide on Friday. Three weeks passed with no word, so I sent a follow-up email, but still nothing. Another week went by and I noticed they updated the job post, so I'm assuming they're still looking. It would have been nice if they had just let me know when they decided I wasn't the right fit.
- What makes you want to work for a company that sells pee cups?
Intern
I applied online. The whole thing took about 2 weeks. I interviewed at Confirm Biosciences in San Diego, CA back in April 2016. It started with a phone interview, and then I had two in-person interviews. It was a good experience all the way through.
- Standard HR questions were asked in the first phone interview.
- The second round included some technical questions and questions about my work experience.
- The third round was with the team and CEO.
Content Writer
It was a 3-part process that lasted around 1.5 hours. First, I spoke with the department head. Then, I had an interview with 4 team members. Finally, there was a writing test. Unfortunately, I didn't get an offer and never heard back after that.
- Could you tell me what book you are currently reading?
