I had a disappointing experience in the selection process for the role. It was extremely slow, with long periods of silence and a lack of communication from the interviewer. This lack of feedback left me without information on my application's progress, causing uncertainty and frustration. Also, when I finally got the offer, I was disappointed with the benefits. They were limited and didn't meet my basic needs. The proposed compensation was also low, not reflecting the value I'd bring to the company. This combination of a slow process, lack of communication, and unsatisfactory benefits and compensation made me question if this was the right opportunity for me. It's essential for companies to prioritize the candidate experience and offer fair and attractive conditions to attract and retain talent.

I got a call, then a short phone interview. They called back really fast for an in-person interview. About 2 hours after that, they had me come back for another in-person interview with the CEO and COO. I interviewed on a Tuesday, and they said they'd talk to the first person I met with and get back to me. It's been 3 weeks and I haven't heard anything. I emailed the first person I spoke with for a follow-up but no response. It's unprofessional to lie and ghost people. I don't want to call out companies online but maybe people should know how they treat candidates.
