Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Condor Supermercados.
Cashier
The interview process was poorly organized. They had trouble contacting me directly and blamed me for it. I had to submit my documents three times for them to hire me. It took them a month to get me started, and the whole market is a mess. Now I realize this level of disorganization isn't normal.
- They asked about my family and other personal details.
Cashier
Interviews are handled on a first-come, first-served basis with tickets. It's a quick process with a few questions to check your home location and if you'd be able to get to a nearby market if there's an opening, and then you might get approved for the interview.
- Would a bus schedule after 10 PM be a problem for you?
Cashier
Interviewed with HR. Then a group interview with other candidates. The manager asked direct questions about personality, suitability for the role, the job's challenges, and candidate strengths. It was very dynamic and social, a good experience in a relaxed environment without pressure.
- Tell me about your availability.
- What experience do you have?
- What are your strengths for this position?
