It was a three round interview process. First with Andy, then with Jamie, and the final round was with peers/Team members. The interview with the on-shore team went pretty well and they were really nice. However, the India Recruitment team came across as quite arrogant, and their way of asking questions felt like mocking. You got the vibe that they would never let anyone in, possibly because my experience level and package were higher than theirs. It felt a bit uncomfortable interviewing with people at the same level, and might even be discouraging for them in terms of perks.

HR called me first for an interview, then I had an online technical test. Following that, I completed three technical interviews on separate weekdays. They then told me I was selected and asked for my salary slips, saying they'd prepare an offer letter. However, they later informed me they couldn't match my expected package, even after a slight negotiation. This was quite shocking and unprofessional behavior, especially since they called me for an interview. They wasted two of my weekdays. The interviews were supposed to be an hour each, but the waiting time was 3-4 hours. If a company wants to hire certified professionals, they should be prepared to pay them accordingly, otherwise, don't waste everyone's time. I'd advise talented candidates to avoid this company.

My CV was submitted in the morning, and I was notified about a phone call/interview just two hours beforehand. I wasn't given the option to postpone it to the next day, with the reason given being that the start date was needed ASAP. The phone call itself lasted less than 15 minutes. The interviewer seemed uninterested in my responses, interrupting me mid-sentence on all occasions and without offering any constructive feedback. There were no positive comments from his side. When asked if I had any further questions, I managed to ask one, but instead of answering, he attempted to 'sell' the company to me. Immediately after, he stated he only had 15 minutes and that someone else was waiting, cutting off the conversation and preventing me from saying anything else. This clearly felt like an excuse rather than a genuine reason. Overall, it was a very misleading and poorly handled interview experience. Thankfully, I didn't get an offer after this.

First, I had a phone call with the head of recruitment to discuss my background and how I'd be a good fit for the company. Then, I met in person with the head of recruitment and the group IT director. I really enjoyed the interview process; both people were very straightforward and honest. My talk with the group IT director was a real discussion about my experience. Nothing about the interview made me doubt working for Condeco, but I had two other job offers. I went with another company because of some 'perks.' If Condeco offers me a job again, I'll take it.
