First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Concord Group Insurance.
Underwriter Trainee
The interview process was super fast and effective, and the recruiter kept me in the loop the whole time! I felt totally comfortable during the interviews, and it was more like a chat with the team. I got an offer less than two weeks after finishing the interviews.
- How have your past experiences made you a good fit for this position?
Marketing Specialist
Concord Group Insurance was one of the first places I applied to. The job description was super clear, and I knew right away I could do the job and bring value, plus learn a lot. It moved fast after that, within two weeks HR called me for a quick chat. Then I had a phone interview with the hiring manager, a video call with the rest of the marketing team, and finally an in-person interview with the hiring manager and HR. Everyone was so nice and easy to talk to. The team seemed really focused and excited about where the company is going, saying they're growing and open to new ideas. It was pretty infectious, and the benefits were good too, especially the vacation and 401k match. I accepted the offer right away and I'm excited to start!
- Can you tell me about your organizational skills and how you manage to do many things at once?
- How do you handle juggling multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively?
Human Resource Generalist
The interview process with Concord Group is something that could use some work. I initially interviewed with the TA Specialist, of which that took about an hour of my time, then in the 2nd round I interviewed with the Director of Human Resources that sits out of Michigan and operates with Concord Group's parent company, which took about another hour. After this point, I met with the HR Admin and CEO in an on sight interview, of which took me two hours. Overall, the process took roughly 4 hours and lasted a little over 2 months to get an email citing they decided to go with another candidate that had more relative experience for what they described as a jack of all trades role that would help in several different areas but did not have a predetermined list of responsibilities in mind. While it is disappointing that after 3 rounds of interviews that took place over 2 months with 4 different people that it did not pan out the way I had hoped, it was still a decent experience.
- What are your thoughts on remote work versus returning to the office?
Claims Adjuster
The process was pretty seamless. Started with a screening interview with HR, then I interviewed with two supervisors. They asked me about what I would do in certain scenarios, my background, and what unique experience I can bring. They were very friendly. I got an offer one week later.
- How would you handle a situation where both drivers involved in an accident claim the other was at fault?
