Behavioral Presentation

The interviewers were organized and thoughtful and engaged. There was a panel interview with the hiring manager, who is relatively new to the organization, and their manager. The second interview was an in-person behavioral interview.

Behavioral Presentation

Applied online, then a month later got a phone interview. After that, two days later was asked to do a presentation. It's been months since then and still no response. They even reposted the job. I followed up and got a fake-sounding response. It's not okay to ghost people or not be upfront, especially when asking for a presentation. Waiting this long with no communication is bad, especially during these times. I'm not interested in working for a company that acts like this.

The interview process started with me being given the incorrect address, but I managed to find the right location. Upon arrival, a security guard at the entrance didn't have any record of my interview and wouldn't let me in or contact anyone. The manager who was supposed to interview me was unreachable by phone. I ended up waiting outside for an hour until I received a call back and was escorted to the office. The interview itself felt pretty standard, with general questions. I felt it went well, especially given my background in management at an energy company. I attempted to follow up several times, and on my last attempt, a section manager seemed annoyed by my calls. I never received any feedback or a job offer. Interestingly, a year later, I saw the same position posted on the ConEd website. Some other jobs I noticed in 2013 reappeared in 2014, making me wonder if they have annual hiring or if these posts are not genuine. Overall, it was a very negative experience for me.
