Project Coordinator
A recruiter hit me up on LinkedIn for a contract gig with their energy client in Little Rock, AR. It was about a hardware upgrade project with the client's IT team. We hopped on a call the next day to chat about the role and pay. After that, the recruiter wanted me to email back confirming I was cool with the compensation and to send over a copy of my ID, with personal stuff blacked out. Then, the recruiter started blowing up my phone and inbox, texting, emailing, and messaging me on LinkedIn, often super late, like 7 p.m., pushing me to schedule the next steps fast. I even thought about asking them to just use one email thread to keep everything straight. Eventually, I got set up for a Zoom chat with the Service Delivery Manager. It was about 45 minutes, and we talked about my past work and what I've done. They said I'd move on to a Zoom interview with the client's team. But before that, I noticed my resume had been messed with – they changed some words and added experience with systems I hadn't actually used, even though my real experience was already a good match. During the client interview, the panel didn't even turn on their cameras, which was the first weird sign. We went over my background and the job stuff, but then out of nowhere, they asked if I liked Play-Doh or Legos better. Didn't get picked for that one. But the recruiter, right away, pushed me towards another job with the same client. It was the same song and dance: tons of messages and interviews, asking the same old questions. They said the pay would be way better this time, but when I asked for it in writing, it was the same rate as before. After interviewing for the second job with the client, I got totally ghosted. Sent three follow-up emails and a bunch of texts, and heard nothing back, no update at all. Basically, it felt like this company just wanted to fill jobs ASAP, not really caring about us candidates. Once they didn't need me for immediate stuff, they just ignored me.
- Do you like Play-Doh or Legos more?
Senior Systems Engineer
great company to work for. they have good benefits. work environment is great and team is responsive. They did 3 round of interviews. 1-technical 2-technical with team 3-manager and in the 3rd round discuss pay and benefits
- Tell me about your experience and how you think you'll be a good fit for this role.
Project Administrator
The interview process was quite disorganized and didn't seem to match the job description at all. The questions asked felt random and irrelevant to the position I was applying for. It was a very strange experience overall.
- Do you have experience using ServiceNow?
Software Engineer
First, they called me and asked some basic questions over the phone about my academic projects, my role, and some technology basics. After that, they told me about a face-to-face interview. I went for the interview, and within 20 minutes, they gave me a question paper. All questions were based on CPP language and some related to Java. The second test involved writing some questions like 'introduce yourself,' 'why should hire you,' and 'tell me about a company like this.' Then, I was shortlisted for the next round, which was an HR round. In this round, the company explained its policies and conditions, but they didn't ask any HR questions. I think nothing much happened in the HR round.
- Can you reverse array elements?
