Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process was 4 stages. First with HR, then with the hiring manager, followed by the VP of Business Development, followed by the Group President. Each step of the interview I’ve been met with great people who are proud to work for CSI. The questions throughout the process are thoughtful and focused on learning not only about your experience and what you bring to the table, but also what you’re looking for from an employer, and just how you are as a person. I’ve appreciated getting to know a handful of the CSI team and truly feel it’s an excellent company to work for. At the time of leaving this review I have not received an offer yet.

I applied for this position using my LinkedIn profile. About a week later, the recruiter contacted me. She was very friendly and suggested we schedule a phone interview. The actual phone interview took place shortly after and lasted around 20-30 minutes. During the call, I discussed my previous work experience and learned more about the company and the role itself. It was a pretty standard phone screening. I inquired about the subsequent steps in the hiring process, and she mentioned that following the phone interview, I would be sent a link via email to complete a personality test. Once that was done, they would aim to arrange an onsite interview. I completed the personality test right away but never heard back from them. I thought the phone interview had gone really well, so I can only guess that I must have performed poorly on the personality test. I'm disappointed that they placed such importance on that test and didn't give me an opportunity to meet with someone in person to showcase my personality. I tend to overanalyze those types of tests and usually don't do well, so I don't think it would have been a good measure of my potential for the role.

CSI reached out to me about the Customer Support Specialist role. HR sent me an email, and then I had a quick phone chat. We discussed company perks and mission, and then I was asked for an in-person interview. At the end of the phone call, I had to complete an online personality test. When I got there, I interviewed with the Customer Experience Manager and Customer Support Manager. It was a pretty chill interview where they learned about me and I learned about the software and daily tasks. I was sold. It was all very professional. I had to back out though because I got another offer. They mentioned they still had a couple more weeks of interviews. If I hadn't gotten the other offer, I would've totally gone with CSI. The only downside was the low pay compared to the market rate. But that was likely due to their budget.

HR reached out and set up an interview. I met with two supervisors who were pretty chill and easygoing. They didn't ask a ton of questions, and the interview felt pretty simple. It was more of a back-and-forth conversation, so I never felt like I was being grilled. They asked stuff related to the job and what it's like working there day-to-day.
