The interview process was great, really clear and I enjoyed it. First, I had an informal chat with the PM for the team, they told me a lot about the company, the product, and how it is to work there. Next was a take-home coding challenge that was pretty easy to do. The last part was technical questions and some questions about soft-skills. They replied fast when I had questions. Overall, it was one of the best experiences.

Behavioral Coding

It was a pretty chill interview, mostly just talking about my past experiences. Then at the end, there was a small coding exercise – the game rock-paper-scissors. You really need to know the technologies listed in the job description inside out. They're not budging if you know similar tech but not the exact ones they require. Even though they could have just not moved me forward to the technical part seeing I didn't have experience in some required tech (even though I'd used related frameworks), they still brought me in. But then they told me I wouldn't get the job because I didn't have experience with the specific technologies I'd already admitted I was missing.

I applied through the university career fair and had my resume screened. Then, a senior engineer scheduled a follow-up interview with me the next week via email. Both people I talked to were really nice.
