First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CompHealth.
Sales Consultant
The interview process was really informative. Everyone I met was super helpful and honest. I had two calls with the recruiter, the first one was more of an intro call. She answered my questions and explained the job well. Then I talked to the direct leaders of the team and they told me about the good and bad parts of the job, like the challenges.
- Can you tell me about how you handle objections?
- In what ways do you differ from your coworkers?
- What makes you unique compared to others on your team?
Physician Assistant
The interview felt rushed, and it seemed like the recruiter didn't know much about the PA position. After the initial phone call, there was no follow-up regarding the role. The whole experience felt very impersonal, especially since the recruiter hadn't even reviewed my resume before our conversation.
- Can you tell me about your interests in being a Physician Assistant?
Hospital Privilege Coordinator
So first, I had a phone interview where they asked me some basic questions about myself and my experience. After that, I was invited to meet with HR. Those questions were more in-depth about my experiences, education, background, and why I wanted to work at CompHealth. Then, I was invited for a third interview. They started with a group setting to discuss the company culture and what's important to them. Following that, the group played a game related to the company's values. After the game, there were two interviews. The first one assessed how well I'd fit into the organization culture-wise. The second interview focused on culture and the skills I could bring to the company. Overall, it was a really great experience and it showed me they genuinely believe in their core values.
- Were you ever asked to do something unethical, and if so, what was your response?
Medical Technologist
Talking to CompHealth feels like chatting with a close friend. They take the time to understand your skills, personality, and what you're looking for in terms of shifts, locations, and job duties. They're super helpful when you have questions about them. If you think of a question after the interview, no worries, you can call them back. Experience is a big deal here. You can't expect to jump into a travel healthcare career right after college. It's standard practice in the industry, whether with CompHealth or another agency, to have at least two years of experience before traveling.
- Could you tell me about your years of experience and the specific laboratory areas you have worked in?
