First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Compex Legal Services.
Project Analyst
I applied through their website and a recruiter got in touch. The whole thing took about three weeks. It was just one phone interview where they went over my resume and asked some general questions. It was pretty straightforward, just a phone call. Honestly, the recruiter wasn't the nicest, and after the questions, they didn't say anything else about the company or the role.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What are your salary expectations?
- Regarding your work permit status...
Order Processor
I found the job posting online. The first step was a 20-minute phone interview where we talked about my resume and how it relates to the job. Having my resume and a list of questions ready really helped me feel less nervous. The interviewer asked if I had questions, and since I had them prepared, it went really smoothly. They said my skills seemed like a good match and that I'd hear back from someone else about an in-person interview after they spoke with all the other candidates.
- How quickly can you type?
- Could you tell me about some of your strengths?
Human Resources Generalist
I went through two interview rounds. First, there was a phone call with the HR Manager where they asked some basic questions about my suitability for the job. A couple days after that initial call, I was informed about the next stage, which was a video interview. This second interview involved the HR Manager and some other HR Generalists. Since then, there's been silence from their side, even though I've tried reaching out multiple times via calls and emails.
- Could you explain your suitability for this position?
- Which aspects of your prior job responsibilities align with this role's requirements?
- Could you describe your previous position and its associated duties?
Manager
The interview process was standard. I met with leaders over the phone and via Zoom, and then had an in-person interview in CA. The company handled all the travel and arrangements for the in-person part. I felt like I was already part of the team and family.
- Can you describe how you would integrate into our company culture?
- What is your approach to handling various situations?
- How do you manage interpersonal dynamics and deal with people?
