First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CompassMSP.
IT Administrator
They said it would be a quick process and they wanted someone to start in 3 weeks. I had the recruiter interview, then 2 other interviews within 3 days. It seemed like it was going well. Then they said they were going to do more interviews and it might take another week. Two weeks after my last interview, they told me they hadn't interviewed anyone else and were going to start interviewing more people. A month after that, so a month and a half total, they finally decided on another candidate. I had to reach out every week for updates and was told I was still a contender, but the recruiter was not helpful. If they had set expectations better at the start, it wouldn't have been so frustrating. The lack of professionalism and constant waiting was a terrible experience.

Security Analyst
The interview process at DigiTrust is fair. I really felt like I had a chance to demonstrate my knowledge and the technical questions were fair. Communication was respectful and professional. I enjoyed the interviews, and even though I was not selected for the job, I felt like I was given a fair chance.
- Tell me about your resume.
Recruiter
The HR person reached out to me, and it took 5 responses to schedule an interview on the same day. After 15+ years of experience in IT Recruiting, an HR person with zero technical staffing experience told me 'I'm just not feeling the vibes and connection.' Is it because you don't know what you're talking about and couldn't answer my questions, or because I made over $1 Million for my previous firm when you were still a teacher and admin assistant?

Consultant
It was a multi-step, pretty detailed process. As a candidate, you gotta be careful how you share your thoughts so you don't step on toes, which is kinda weird because isn't that part of why they're hiring you? It's a very top-down place, and they don't really welcome other opinions all that much.
- Can you share some of your past experiences?
