Had a short phone call, with a few quick questions. They told me about the job opening and then asked me some stuff about my background and jobs I'd had before. I had to give examples of projects I'd worked on, any certs I had, and explain the jobs I did.

Behavioral Presentation

The panel interview was intimidating, but Sandy, Laura, and Dustin were engaging and warm, and they answered all my questions. It felt like a conversation. Laura showed me examples of projects I would work on and explained how my past experience would translate. We discussed my experience and past roles. I heard back the next day. There was a background check, which cleared the day after submission.

The interview process was straightforward and positive, involving a small group and the owner. Since they were hiring for part-time help, it was less demanding than usual. They asked about my past experience, current skills and expectations, etc.

Behavioral Presentation Other

The owner, a sharp and smart guy, handles all the hiring. He'll dig into your skills, experience, and contacts to benefit his company, likely by giving you short-term tasks with no real promise of a full-time job. Be aware that he might try to lowball you on your rate, asking for a "fair price" which is just a tactic to use your skills cheaply. The company is also heavily micro-managed, so if you can't handle that, it's not the place for you. They ended up owing me $3400.

  • Would you be willing to negotiate a fair price for your services?
