First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Compass Health.
Clinician
The hiring manager at the clinic was really nice and easy to chat with. They showed me around the clinic and pointed out which office would be mine if I got the job. They also introduced me to some of the other clinicians. They only asked questions about the job itself, and I got the feeling that I would get support for more training and certifications while working there. I heard back about the interview within a few days. Since I was already working for the company, moving from another program, that might have made things a bit faster.
- How would you handle working with a variety of people and personalities in therapy?
Child and Family Therapist
I had an initial one on one standard interview with the Program Manager/ Supervisor. They asked several standard questions and I got to ask questions back at the end. Overall it was a very standard interview process that lasted about 30 min. I was able to get a good overview of the job.
- Can you share an instance where you encountered a challenging client and describe your approach to managing that situation?
Care Coordinator
I had a really positive experience for my interview! The team was really kind, knowledgable, and clearly passionate about their work. They took the time to tell me about the organization, benefits, and clientele. They asked some questions, including a role play question, and thoroughly answered all of my questions. I received an offer but declined due to pay. I had heard from friends who had applied to Compass in the past that the organization pay is wildly low, and this was definitely true based on my experience. I was bummed to have turned it down because I truly was excited, but I do think that this team is lovely and they would be great to work with for whoever comes along!
- Tell me something about yourself that isn't on your resume.
Product Manager
Had to give recorded video answers, and they didn't give any feedback afterwards. It felt impersonal and took forever. They could have just asked me over the phone to make it more engaging.
- Walk me through your background.
- Summarize your experience related to this position.
