First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Compass.
Mental Health Clinician
Compass starts with a phone screening to go over the basic job requirements and clinician qualifications. After that, there were interviews with different staff members, including the residency supervisor.
- How do you ensure documentation is completed in a timely manner?
Behavior Technician
It was a 45-minute interview on Zoom. They asked several scenarios about ABA therapy, like how I would handle them and what I would implement. It's a long interview, so be ready to answer questions and scenarios.
- How would you approach this scenario in ABA therapy?
- What actions would you take given this ABA therapy situation?
In-Home Clinician
I got a call from HR about my interest. They walked me through the process, which had one in-person interview. I met with the site director for about an hour. They offered me the job the following week.
- What are your 5-year career aspirations?
- How would you respond to a given scenario?
- Can you list symptoms for DSM diagnoses?
Behavior Support Clinician
There were two interviews with supervisors, each lasting about an hour. They talked about my goals and asked some job-related questions. It was a pretty laid-back conversation, and the supervisors were very friendly. They also made sure to give me time to ask my own questions about the role.
- What steps would you take if a parent refused to continue with a proposed intervention?
