This was honestly the worst interview experience I've ever had. The recruiter was really nice, but the interviewer, who seemed to be from the leadership team, was super belittling. They totally brushed aside my professional achievements, acting like they weren't even real accomplishments.

The interview process was pretty unprofessional. I wish I could provide some tangible feedback on it, but they ghosted me after the first interview, even though they had explicitly described the next steps and said I could expect a follow-up email the next day. So, enough said.

Behavioral Technical Other

I had a screening call that went pretty well and they asked me some basic questions. Then, I had another interview with the same person and someone who was currently in the role. They asked standard questions about why I was interested in working at Comparably and my work style. During the interview, they mentioned they weren't rushing the process because they wanted to find the 'right' person, and I wasn't sure what that meant, but it felt like they weren't very diverse in their hiring. Near the end, they asked me to complete an email prompt and send it within a few days. I did that but never heard back, not even a confirmation that they received it, no feedback, or if they were moving forward. It was a bad experience, feeling like they couldn't even acknowledge the assignment I worked on or the time I put into the interviews. About a month later, the recruiter told me they had moved on with another candidate. I don't think it's fair to make candidates wait with no feedback.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview experience was really clear and fast. I always knew what was coming next. It started with a phone screen with the COO, followed by another call with the head of sales. Then, I had an in-person interview where I met the Head of Sales, the COO, and some sales team members. The final part involved a role-play sales presentation and an interview with the CEO.
