Housing Case Manager
The hiring process moved pretty fast, taking about a week from start to finish between the interviews. There were three interviews in total: one over the phone, one via Zoom, and a final in-person one. Only the initial phone call was a one-on-one conversation. It felt a bit unstructured and informal regarding who asked what or who answered questions.
- Describe an instance where you made a mistake at work and what you would do differently in retrospect.
Budget Director
I applied online and got a message with some schedule options. I was supposed to interview with three people. When I arrived, the person who had contacted me had resigned. In the middle of the interview, my potential manager told me she was going to do something unexpected and gave me a completely new job description. She told me to go home, review it, and let her know if I was still interested. I did, and I did. Then I heard nothing back. Not a good look.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Clerical Support
Since I was hired from within the program, the interview was very basic. The only question asked was why I wanted to change positions.
- How would you contribute to enhancing the office environment?
