So, the interview process involves a panel of two interviewers. They're going to ask you about your experience in the mental health field. Then, they want to hear about any past conflicts you've had with patients or co-workers and how you managed those situations professionally. They'll also inquire about the kinds of patients you've worked with and ask for specific examples of your conflict resolution and how you communicate with others.

It started with a quick HR check-in, very straightforward. Then, about a week later, I got an email to set up another interview. This turned out to be a panel with 4 people, including the hiring manager. They asked a bunch of different questions. The next day, HR contacted me to schedule a third interview. This one was also a panel, with different people this time, but not the hiring manager, and the questions were tougher.

I applied online and got an email for an interview the next week. Two people interviewed me for about 30 minutes. They said I'd hear back in two weeks, but it's been 8 weeks and I still haven't heard anything, not even an automated email. I'm assuming they picked someone else, but it's really unprofessional not to communicate.

So it was way more intense than I thought it would be. I think there were like 10+ behavioral questions, and I had multiple people interviewing me. They didn't tell me beforehand that there would be more than one person, so I got pretty nervous when they told me as we were heading to the room. The interviewers were nice enough, but it was still super intimidating having 3 people just watching me basically try to read my mind for all these situational questions.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • What are your thoughts on flexibility and change?
  • Can you identify any areas where you are not flexible?
  • Describe a situation where you had a conflict with a supervisor, including your actions and the result.
