The interview process was pretty straightforward with standard questions about loan processing. They were really looking to fill positions quickly, so they hired on the spot. The main goal was to get the work done, and they planned to lay people off once the cleanup was finished.

The interview process was pretty standard. I spoke with a few supervisors, and then I met with the VP for my final interview. Everyone made me feel really comfortable. I had told the HR department that I was coming straight from my other job and wouldn't be dressed properly, and they were really nice about it. They said it wasn't about how I looked but about my ability to do the job. I liked being judged on my skills and experience instead of how I looked, which made me feel good from the start.

The interview process was really quick. They hit me with a lot of questions about my technical know-how in the mortgage industry. I spoke with some AVP/VP folks, who were nice enough but got straight to the point. They threw in some odd questions like how many quarters are in a $10 roll and had me do a writing sample. They were upfront about what they were looking for, and I got an offer pretty fast after that.

I talked to the HR person for my application, and they helped me figure out the best job opening. Then I met with a Manager and someone from the team. After they gave me the okay, I met with a 1st VP for the final decision. I had another call with HR later to go over the feedback. About two weeks after that, HR called me with a job offer.
