First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Community Health Care.
Medical Assistant
I interviewed in May 2021 for one of their urgent care clinics. The turnover here is so bad (probably because of salaries that are a joke, general understaffing, and lack of good training) that an HR person coached me on expected questions and how to answer them. I was interviewed by a panel of 4-5 managers and didn't know where I'd be placed until I got the offer. The interview was pretty quick and easy, and I got the job offer within three hours of finishing. Also, CHC doesn't drug test you unless they have a good reason to think you're intoxicated at work.
- Can you tell me about your experience with point-of-care testing?
- What are your strengths and weaknesses?
- What are your strengths?
Pharmacist
I had an interview set up by the HR Specialist. It was a forty-five minute face-to-face interview with the pharmacy director, and they used a standardized interview form. I didn't get to see the actual work sites because the interview was held in the HR building.
- How would you describe yourself in a single word?
Applicant
I met with the Office Manager and the Supervising Physician who is also the owner. They asked me a few questions about my last employer and my experience. I was told about the provider they fired and the reason why. I was not informed by management that the office had issues with the FBI and DEA (I learned this later after I was hired).
- Can you share details about your previous employer?
Biller
We had a group interview, there were three of us. They asked the usual questions like why you want to work here and about your qualifications. Then, since the job needs bilingual skills, I had to take a language test.
