First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Community Counseling Centers of Chicago.
Development Associate
After applying online, I got an email for a 30-minute video interview. No one followed up, not even to say they weren't interested.
- What are your strategies for managing mental health in a mental healthcare work environment?
Quality Assurance Engineer
I went through 3 rounds of interviews. The first two rounds were fine, but the third round was with the CFO, who was really rude and condescending. It made me uncomfortable with the company. HR also didn't call me back at the scheduled time to let me know about the offer. I didn't feel respected.
- How familiar are you with Medicaid and IMS?
Recruiter
I had a phone interview, then an in-person interview. Finally, I met with the CEO for the last interview. We talked about a lot of things. They told me all about the company, its future plans, and how I could fit in. The atmosphere was really nice. The HR Director and CEO were great and really open, which I liked! It was a good interview overall.
- How would you help C4 achieve its mission?
- What drew you to this company?
Therapist
It was a typical interview. I met with my potential Supervisor and the Site Director. We talked about the job, what they're looking for, and I answered questions about my background and what I thought I could contribute to the agency. We also discussed how I deal with tough topics in therapy.
- Can you share an example of a challenging case you managed?
- What are your thoughts on the role and what is expected of you?
- What experience do you have and what value can you bring to our agency?
