Behavioral Presentation

It was a standard three step process: first HR screening, then a one on one with management which was pretty informal, and finally a three person panel. The panel asked questions that were given to them by HR, and they wanted answers using the CAR (STAR) model. I went through the whole thing but never got feedback or heard back. It says a lot about the culture, so I guess I dodged a bullet. My advice: always follow up with candidates, good or bad news, it's just good business.

I got an email asking for a phone interview to talk about my qualifications. After that, they called me two days later to set up an in-person interview. I met with two managers, one from the department I applied to and another from a different department. They asked mostly STAR method questions, then some about my past work and shift availability, and finally gave me a tour of the warehouse. The phone interview was on Tuesday, the in-person was Friday, and I got the offer call Monday at noon, pending background and drug tests.

Behavioral Other

The interview process for this role takes about 30 minutes for the first stage, which is a phone call with HR. If you make it through, you'll have an in-person interview with the District Manager about a week later. If that goes well, another interview with someone from corporate offices is scheduled for the following week. After that, you'll spend time job shadowing a current General Manager at a local store. Then, about a week after the shadowing, HR will reach out again to begin the background check.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • The interview questions are standard for this type of role, but the overall process is lengthy (4-6 weeks) for a position with relatively low pay.

Behavioral

I had a phone screen first, then a Zoom interview about a week later with 3 team members. The structure and conversation felt a bit rigid and didn't really represent the company/brand well. The questions were pretty straightforward, no real surprises. It took about 2 weeks to get an update after I asked. Finally, I got a quick voicemail saying my qualifications didn't "exactly line up" with what they were looking for.
