The interview with the SDR manager was really good and felt genuine. They gave me a good rundown of the team's wins and where they could improve, and they were super clear about what I'd be doing if I joined. The whole interview process was straightforward and didn't drag on, which was nice given how the job market is right now.

Behavioral Other

This company was really disorganized with amateur leadership, making it one of the most unconventional and unprofessional interviews I've had. I had 2 interview rounds, and then spoke with the Controller for about 45 minutes. This person went on a cursing tirade about their work and personal life, and also gave unsolicited career advice. This lasted about an hour, and I only had about 10 minutes for interview questions. I can only imagine what it's like for employees working there. On the bright side, it taught me it's okay to end an interview professionally if I encounter something like this again. So, thanks for the lesson and for showing me this isn't the place for me based on my values!

I submitted my application online and then had a phone call with the hiring manager. It was a really nice and professional conversation. They provided me with some direct feedback on how I matched the role. Although I didn't have the exact experience they were looking for, the overall experience was very positive and made me think highly of the company.

About a week after applying, I got an email and headed in for a panel interview. It lasted about an hour and a half. The interviewers were all pretty chill, like bros, and they asked a bunch of personality-based questions. There were 3 of them on the panel, which I think is basically the whole company size. Everyone was cool, but it honestly felt like the job wasn't super serious.
