The interview started with a preliminary phone call, and the final interview was conducted in person. The senior HR team was present, and the environment was comfortable. It began with introductions, and then the team members took turns asking questions. They were very friendly. The process felt smooth and professional.

I had a panel interview with 3 people, including my potential manager. It was a really nice chat, they were all super friendly and made me feel comfortable. We kicked things off with a quick icebreaker, and then moved on to about 4-5 questions about my competencies. To finish up, they asked me a couple more questions to understand my natural strengths.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

It took about three months from when I applied until I got the interview. The interview itself was supposed to be 45 minutes and was a single stage. I was told I'd hear back quickly, but it's been over two months with no update, even after I followed up. The panel had three people. The main hiring manager was great, really engaged and respectful. But the other two were a mixed bag. One was super distracted with other stuff going on, almost smirking, which felt pretty dismissive. The third person seemed bored, barely engaged, and didn't really follow up on my answers. Honestly, within the first 10 minutes, it felt like most of the panel wasn't that into it, especially with the distracted person's behavior. It made me wonder about how professional the whole process was. I never got any feedback.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Tell me, what did you get up to over the weekend?
  • What technical considerations come to mind regarding incident management and incident response?
  • Can you share an instance where you demonstrated [specific skill or handled a particular situation]?
