First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Commonwealth Charter Academy.
High School Teacher
I had two interviews. The first interview was with one of the principals. My second interview was with an interview committee. I believe the committee consisted of an assistant principal, a teacher of the subject I was interviewing for, and someone from HR.

504 Coordinator
The interview process was long! I applied in May and heard back in August. I had 2 interviews and was told I was a top candidate. Months passed until October and the job was no longer posted. I reached out to the school and they had hired someone else.

Learning Specialist
I had a phone screening and was quickly scheduled for an interview. For this interview, a role specific task was sent. I spent hours on the task and confidently presented it. Three weeks later, I received an impersonal form email with a rejection. When I asked for feedback regarding my resume, qualifications, and presentation, I was met with silence. The position has since been reposted.
- Why do you want to work for CCA?
English Teacher
I had an initial screening and set up an online interview. I did the online teaching video and other stuff that took a lot of time and prep. But the day before, they told me they hired someone else. It was really upsetting because I didn't even get to interview. And the email they sent was generic, acting like I finished the whole thing.
