I applied online for a Senior TA role at Commercetools, but got a rejection a few weeks later, saying they couldn't hire in my location. I had clearly stated on my CV that I was a Blue Card holder ready to relocate. I emailed a Recruitment Lead to clarify, but got no response. I did see the person active on LinkedIn, though.

The recruiters were great, really down-to-earth and easy to chat with. I went through 3 interviews and got feedback pretty quickly. That is, until after my third interview. Then, radio silence on feedback, just a generic email with a link to do an aptitude/personality test the next day. I spent 40 mins on that, and the day after (after I chased them) I was told the role was closed. Started out nice, but I wasn't thrilled to keep putting time into a process when they weren't transparent that it was already closed.

The interview process was really fast, and everyone was very kind. They explained a lot about the product, the company culture, and how they operate. I really enjoyed talking with the team; they gave me a great sense of what it would be like to work there. I felt at ease throughout the entire recruitment process.
