It was a 4-stage process. First, I chatted with the recruiter. Then, I had a call with the hiring manager. After that, I spoke with two senior members of the customer success team. The last part was a presentation to a panel about a made-up customer situation.

Behavioral Presentation Group

The whole process took about 4 weeks. It started with a recruiter screen, then a hiring manager interview, followed by a peer interview. The final stage was a presentation and panel with other leadership members in the department. Everyone was really polite and accommodating, and I got feedback quickly. The panel exercise was relevant and helped me understand the product and role better.

Technical Behavioral

Got a super fast response from the recruiter after the initial outreach. That was great! But, during the call, the recruiter didn't even ask how to pronounce my name, which made me feel like I wasn't a good fit. They asked a lot of technical questions, which was surprising since this isn't a very technical job in general. The questions felt more suited for a Technical Account Manager than a Client Success Manager. While I do have technical skills, the level they were looking for seemed higher than what most CSMs typically have. I didn't get an offer, but I kind of knew that when the recruiter didn't ask for my name's pronunciation. On the plus side, they didn't leave me hanging for too long.
