First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Comcast Spectacor.
Software Engineer
Applied online, then had a recruiter call about my resume and the role. Went through a couple of technical rounds. First one was a coding screen with algorithm questions (data manipulation, logic). Second was more conversational, discussing a complex problem, then high-level system design for a financial service, plus past projects and CS concepts. Last round was with a senior manager, mostly behavioral: teamwork, challenges, and interest in Comcast Spectacor.

HR Coordinator
It started with a phone screen, then a video interview. After that, there were 3 more rounds of interviews. Everyone was really nice, and they're definitely looking for the best fit, which means having experience in HR and being ready to work late nights and weekends.
- Can you describe your HR experience?
Intern
I had a great experience interviewing for the internship position. I was contacted by a very nice rep from Human Resources who had an extensive set of questions for the interview before taking me to talk to someone in a position of high management. It was a typical interview process that started with an email, then went to a phone call for screening, then went to a face to face interview process. Since I had to do this to receive school credit, I needed my supervisor to be accessible to work with me to draft a goal sheet and be around to sign off on my weekly logged hours. He was more than happy to do this considering he was once in my shoes five years previously and helped make my overall experience a fantastic one!
- Can you tell me about a time you behaved irrationally and explain your reasons for doing so?
Customer Service Representative
I applied online. They responded quickly at first, but then I was the one who had to chase them for updates. The interview itself went well, but again, there was no follow-up. It makes me wonder if this is the right place for me because of the lack of follow-up. If someone says they'll do something, they should do it without the potential hire having to do all the chasing.
